While
visiting the many attractions in Southern Utah, you'll find that Cove Fort
is right on your way by Beaver Utah. Travelers may be headed to Provo, Orem
or Salt Lake City, or to Yellowstone, or they may be headed south to Zion
National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Lake Powell, Arches National
Park, Canyonland National Park, Capitol Reef National Park or even the Grand
Canyon North Rim. Regardless of where you are headed, you should defiinitely
stop at Beaver Utah. Cove Fort is located immediately northeast of the junction of I-15 and I-70, near Beaver Utah, in the southeast corner of Millard County, twenty miles south of Kanosh and twenty-four miles north of Beaver Utah and Fillmore Utah. Located in Southern Utah near Capitol Reef and Bryce Canyon National Park. At the confluence of Interstate 70 and Interstate 15. Cove Fort was constructed in 1867 in southern utah near Beaver Utah. Prior to its construction near Beaver Utah, the site was occupied by a ranch-fort erected by the Charles William Willden family in 1860. |
